Do I have to pay a tourist tax to stay at Le Perchoir du Quercy?
Yes, in France, in some communes, holidaymakers may have to pay a tourist tax, calculated per person per night.
The amount of this tax varies according to the type of accommodation (hotel, furnished accommodation, campsite, etc.) and its classification. The tax is paid to the landlord, hotelier, owner or the professional responsible for online bookings on their behalf. The money collected is then returned to the local authority.Certain people, such as children under the age of 18, are exempt from this tax. As far as Le Perchoir du Quercy is concerned, please note that it has been classified as a "4-star furnished tourist accommodation" by the Cahors Vallée du Lot Tourist Office. The tourist tax must be paid directly to me on the spot. In January 2024 it was €1.95 per night per adult. Please ask me for the amount when you book.
